No, because the site is not doing a sales job yet. Before revenue it has one audience: a fund deciding whether to take a first call, an engineer deciding whether to leave a permanent job for you, and a programme officer deciding whether you look like a company or a lab group. We read 45 funded deep tech websites in September 2026. Fifteen named no human being anywhere.

Yes, and before the first call if you prefer.

Because it is four jobs done as one: positioning, identity, a site of 24 to 30 pages and search, by the two people you meet on the first call. The number is written down before work starts. If the budget is smaller, we reduce the scope, never the rate.

Less than you expect, and almost all of it from one person. A thirty minute first call, one working session on positioning, a review at the end of each of the first three stages, and a call each week. Your technical lead is needed for two things only: deciding what the company claims, and checking that what we have written is true.
