APP/ART — Privacy Policy
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how APP/ART collects, uses, and protects your information when you interact with our services or website.
We keep this short and readable on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us and we'll explain it properly.

Information We Collect
We may collect the following information:
Name and contact details (email, phone number)
Project-related information and communication
Billing and payment details
Website usage data (via analytics tools)
We only collect information that is necessary to provide and improve our services.
How We Use Information
Your information is used to:
Communicate and manage projects
Provide and improve our services
Respond to inquiries and requests
Issue invoices and process payments
Maintain internal records
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
Our Legal Basis
We process personal data on the following grounds:
Contract — to quote for, deliver and invoice the work you engage us for
Legitimate interests — to run and improve the studio, and to keep records of the work we've done
Consent — for non-essential cookies and any marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time
Legal obligation — to meet accounting and tax requirements in Gibraltar
Data We Handle on Behalf of Clients
Some of our work involves building systems that collect data from your customers — booking flows, contact forms, CRM and email automations.
Where that happens, you remain the controller of that data and APP/ART acts as a processor. We only process it on your instructions, for as long as the engagement requires, and we will agree the specifics in writing before the work begins.
Data Protection
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Third-Party Services
We may use trusted third-party tools (e.g., analytics, communication platforms, design and hosting services) to support our operations.
These services may collect limited data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Cookies
Our website may use cookies to improve user experience and analyze traffic.
You can choose to disable cookies through your browser settings. Where non-essential cookies are used, we will ask for your consent first.
How Long We Keep Data
We keep project and communication records for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you return or a question comes up about past work.
Financial records are kept for as long as Gibraltar tax and accounting rules require. Anything we no longer need is deleted.
International Transfers
Some of the third-party tools we use are based outside Gibraltar. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place, such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Your Rights
You may request to:
Access the data we hold about you
Correct or update your information
Request deletion of your data
Object to or restrict how we use it
Receive your data in a portable format
Withdraw consent where we relied on it
Requests can be made through our contact channels. We'll respond within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, tell us first and we'll try to put it right.
You also have the right to complain to the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority, which acts as Information Commissioner and is the supervisory authority for data protection in Gibraltar — gra.gi
